Loan Round-Up: Andy Gogia makes injury return on Monday

12 April 2017

Find out how our loanees have been getting on this midweek

Andy Gogia returned to competitive action on Monday night, after three months out with an ankle injury, but he couldn't prevent Dynamo Dresden losing 1-0 away at promotion rivals Eintracht Braunschweig. The on-loan Brentford winger had missed Dynamo's last nine matches but returned as a late substitute for the trip to Brunswick. The only goal of the game came two minutes into stoppage time as Ken Reichel fired home a loose ball from inside the box. Defeat leaves Dynamo fifth, eight points off the promotion picture, with six games to play while Monday's opponents move up to second.

There will be plenty of action for our loan players over the Easter weekend as Dynamo host Fortuna Dusseldorf on Sunday, Jan Holldack and SV Wuppertaler take on SG Wattenscheid 09 at home on Thursday, while Emmanuel Onariase and Cheltenham Town travel to Crawley Town on Friday before hosting Grimsby Town on Monday.
