Danish forward enjoys afternoon of cooking at Brentford Lock
Lasse Vibe took time out this afternoon to head down to Siracusa and help with some cooking. The 30-year-old joined Tyler, Luke and Daniel - a trio of youngsters assisted by the Community Sports Trust - to enjoy a few hours making Italian food in Brentford Lock.
Lasse helped the boys prepare three pizzas and a selection of pastas, before they sat down to try some of their own cooking. That was followed by a question and answer session with Lasse and Siracusa owner Errol Begu. At the end of the afternoon, Lasse was clearly happy to have spent his time with the three of them.
"I am very happy [with today]," said Lasse. "I think it's always great to come out and support the kids, to work with the Community Sports Trust, and see the kids in a different environment.
"I think we had a day today where they actually learned something, they learned how to cook. I've seen in some of the boys' eyes that they actually realised that this was a great way to be in a different learning zone and take something away, not just wasting your time. It was really positive and a good day."
Errol was also delighted to welcome the team to Siracusa, he said: "It's been a very good day, the boys have been really good."
"It's fantastic, we've been with the Club for five years and they've been really good to us. Lasse was great and I think the kids loved it."
