Romaine Sawyers included in St Kitts and Nevis squad

Midfielder joins up with Sugar Boyz for this weekend's Caribbean Cup qualifiers

Romaine Sawyers has been included in the St Kitts and Nevis squad for the Third Round of qualifying for the 2017 Caribbean Cup this weekend. The Sugar Boyz, who have won all four games on route to this stage, are in Group Two alongside Haiti and French Guiana. Romaine and his teammates travel to the Stade Municipal Dr. Edmard Lama, Remire-Montjoly on Saturday to take on French Guiana before returning to the Warner Park Sports Complex, Basseterre on Tuesday to host Haiti. The four group winners will automatically qualify for next June's Carribean Cup and the CONCACAF Gold Cup in July with the three best second-placed sides heading into a Play-Off for the fifth spot at the Gold Cup.

Romaine, who joined Brentford in the summer, has represented his nation at Under-23 and full international level where he has 18 caps, scoring four goals. The 24-year-old has been an ever-present in the Sky Bet Championship so far this season, making 11 appearances for Dean Smith's side.
