Brentford players in international action this week

8 October 2016

Here's when our internationals will be involved for their nations

Andreas Bjelland

Andreas returns to the Denmark fold for two 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers this week after more than a year out due to injury. The defender has 21 caps to his name for his country and will be looking to add to that as The Danes play Poland on Saturday in Warsaw (8.45pm Kick-Off local time) before returning to Copenhagen to host Montenegro next Tuesday (8.45pm Kick-Off local time).

Romaine Sawyers

Romaine Sawyers has been included in the St Kitts and Nevis squad for the Third Round of qualifying for the 2017 Caribbean Cup this weekend. The Sugar Boyz, who have won all four games on route to this stage, travel to the Stade Municipal Dr. Edmard Lama, Remire-Montjoly on Saturday to take on French Guiana before returning to the Warner Park Sports Complex, Basseterre on Tuesday to host Haiti. The four group winners will automatically qualify for next June's Carribean Cup and the CONCACAF Gold Cup in July with the three best second-placed sides heading into a Play-Off for the fifth spot at the Gold Cup.

Ellery Balcombe

The B Team goalkeeper has been called up to Neil Dewsnip's squad for a double header against Sweden in Stockholm this weekend. The Young Lions face The Swedes in Kungsängens on Friday (6pm Kick-Off local time) before meeting again two days later in Tibblevallen (1pm kick-off local time).
