Defender plays 45 minutes for Denmark in draw with Czech Republic
Andreas Bjelland played the first-half as Denmark were held to a 1-1 draw in the Czech Republic last night. Fresh from playing 90 minutes in their 4-1 World Cup Qualifying win over Kazakhstan on Friday night, Andreas earned his 23rd Danish cap in Mladá Boleslav as Åge Hareide's side fell behind to Antonin Barak's fine, eighth minute opener. The Danes levelled seven minutes before the break, Nicolai Jørgensen converting Simon Kjaer's cross from close range.
The 28-year-old defender was withdrawn at half-time as neither side found a way through in the second-half. The Danes are now not in action again until late March when they head to Romania for their next 2018 World Cup Qualifier.
