Brighton and Hove Albion ticketing change

18 December 2016

February's game against The Seagulls will now not go on General Sale

With the Sky Bet Championship promotion race starting to take shape, Brentford fans will have noticed that upcoming fixtures at Griffin Park have an exciting look to them. After the Boxing Day match against Cardiff City, The Bees host the current top two – Newcastle United and Brighton and Hove Albion – along with two teams relegated from the Premier League last season – Norwich City and Aston Villa.

The Club expects demand for tickets for all these matches to be high and they are on sale now. Season Ticket Holders and Club Members can buy for all five matches while the Cardiff match is on sale to those with a previous purchasing history and the Norwich fixture is on General Sale. Tickets for the matches against Newcastle – on Monday 16 January – and Aston Villa – on Tuesday 31 January – will not go on General Sale but will be available to those with a previous purchase history on Monday, 19 December. The Club would like to reiterate previous messages and ask Bees fans not to buy tickets for away supporters who will not be able to buy in any other way.

It was initially planned that the match against Brighton, being played on Sunday 5 February, would go on General Sale on Monday. After further internal discussion and having received correspondence from supporters, this decision has been changed. This match will now not go on General Sale. Tickets will be available to those with a previous purchase history on Monday, unless their only previous purchase was the match against Brighton last season. It would be great to see Griffin Park packed to the rafters as The Bees take on the teams battling for promotion and attempt to climb the table to get in to that promotion race. Supporters can do their bit by buying their tickets early and ensuring all home stands are full of Bees fans for these matches.
