Injury cuts short striker's time in West London
Uruguayan striker Leandro Rodríguez has returned to Everton at the end of his loan spell. The 23-year-old joined The Bees from the Premier League side in March and started two matches in the Sky Bet Championship. His game time was, unfortunately, curtailed by a hamstring injury he picked up in the win over Nottingham Forest earlier this month.
Leandro has been working to get back to fitness after the injury but has yet to fully recover. It has therefore been decided that he will return to Everton today, Thursday 14 April, at the expiration of his loan. Everyone at Brentford FC would like to thank Leandro for his efforts and wish him all the best for the rest of the season.
