Defender moves to Vanarama National League North for a month
Brentford Development Squad defender Aaron Green has joined Boston United on loan. The left back completed the move to the Vanarama National League North side today, Friday 11 September. He has signed a one month loan deal and will stay with the Lincolnshire side until 11 October.
Aaron joined Brentford from Chelmsford City, where he was playing at National League South level, last summer and signed a one-year contract after a successful trial. He extended that deal earlier this year and is under contract until the end of the current season.
Aaron made 12 appearances for Chelmsford during the 2013/14 season, having spent time beforehand at Heybridge Swifts and Harlow Town. He scored for Brentford in an Under-21 Professional Development League Two South appearance against Cardiff City last March while on trial and joined The Bees soon after.
Aaron has been almost ever-present for Brentford at Under-21 level since his arrival. He played 25 Professional Development League matches last season and has made a further three appearances this term.
Aaron will be eligible for Boston’s Vanarama National League North match against Chorley tomorrow, Saturday 12 September. Boston are 14th in the National League North after eight games. The former Football League side have lost in the Play-Offs in two of the past four seasons.
