Midfielder returns to Griffin Park after loan spell with League Two side.
Josh Laurent has been recalled from his loan spell with Sky Bet League Two side Newport County. The 20-year-old midfielder joined The Exiles in August and made his Football League debut against Leyton Orient.
He went on to make a further three appearances, including starting the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy tie against Swindon Town. His final appearance coming in the 0-0 draw away at Dagenham and Redbridge last month.
Josh made his professional debut last month, playing for Brentford in the Capital One Cup defeat to Oxford United. He worked with the First Team during pre-season and been part of the training camp in Portugal.
Josh joined Brentford from Queens Park Rangers in January and signed until the summer of 2016. He made 12 appearances for The Bees in the U21 Professional Development League Two South last term, scoring four goals and has played one further game this season.
