19 May 2015

Bees head to Hertfordshire for friendly

Brentford will play Vanarama National League newcomers Boreham Wood as part of their build-up to the new campaign.
Planning for the 2015/16 season is well underway and a third pre-season friendly has now been confirmed.
The Bees will play Boreham Wood away from home on Sunday July 19.
The match will be played at Boreham Wood’s Meadow Park ground and will kick-off at 3pm.
The Hertfordshire side will be members of the newly named Vanarama National League in 2015/16, the highest level of non-league football.
They won promotion in the Vanarama Conference South Play-Offs which finished earlier this month.
It will be the third season in a row Brentford have played Boreham Wood in pre-season.
The friendly is the second confirmed by Brentford in the lead-up to the start of the new season.
The Bees will play Stoke City at Griffin Park on Saturday July 25 at 1.30pm and Luton Town away from home on Tuesday July 28 at 7.45pm.
More details of Brentford’s pre-season friendlies will be announced as they are confirmed.
