Development Squad midfield player Emmanuel Oyeleke returns to Brentford after loan deal at Aldershot Town ends

Development Squad midfield player Emmanuel Oyeleke has returned from Aldershot Town at the end of a loan spell.

Emmanuel, better known to most as Manny, has been with the Vanarama Conference side since mid-October.

His loan expired earlier this week and he has returned to Brentford after playing 11 games for The Shots in all competitions.

It was his third loan spell with the Hampshire outfit, he spent most of the 2013/14 season on loan at Aldershot in two spells, playing 40 times for The Shots and scoring five goals.

Ose Aibangee, Brentford FC Academy Director, said: “We have welcomed Manny back to training this week after another successful loan at Aldershot.

“He suffered a few injuries so probably did not play as many games as he could have done but he started a lot of matches and got more experience of First Team football.

“He will be available for upcoming Development Squad matches and we will assess how he has progressed over the past few months.

“It may be that another loan will suit Manny or he will play and train with us and look to progress in that way, we will make that decision over the coming days and weeks.”

Manny, who can also play at right back, signed a new one-year contract in the summer.

He made his Brentford debut in an FA Cup Second Round tie against Wrexham in December 2011 and has made two further appearances for The Bees, in a League One game against Milton Keynes Dons and in a Capital One Cup tie against Dagenham and Redbridge.

The 22-year-old has played five games for the Development Squad this season.
