Marcos Tébar leaves Brentford

20 December 2015

Midfielder departs Griffin Park

Spanish midfield player Marcos Tébar Ramiro has left Brentford after a mutual agreement was reached for the termination of his contract. The 29-year-old spent 18 months in West London but signed an agreement to end his contract yesterday, Saturday 19 December. He will now return to Spain ahead of the opening of the Transfer Window on 2 January 2016.

The Madrid-born midfield player started out with Real Madrid and played for Spain at Under-16 and Under-17 level. He spent three years with Girona, in the Spanish second tier, playing regularly for the Catalan side before a move UD Almería, where he spent a year.

Marcos left Almería to come to Brentford last summer and played six games in his first season at Griffin Park. He was an unused substitute in one match this term and leaves the Club after making those six appearances, four in the Sky Bet Championship.

All at Brentford FC thank Marcos and wish him all the best for the future.
