BRENTFORD YOUNGSTER GETS ENGLAND CALL

30 September 2014

Player from Brentford's Category Two Football Academy called in to England Under-15 training group

A player from Brentford’s Academy has been called up for an England training camp.

Harry Francis will join up with the national squad for an Under-15 gathering this weekend.

The teenager will be with the England squad from Friday, October 3, until Sunday, October 5.

No matches are scheduled for the three day get together.

Ose Aibangee, Brentford FC Academy Director, said: “It is brilliant news for Brentford to have a player in the England training squad, and great for Harry.

“The training camp will be a large gathering of around 60 players but it is a chance for Harry to impress.

“Not only will it give him a chance to get international honours down the line, he can represent Brentford FC.

“The youth development scheme at Brentford FC has come a long way in a short space of time.

“To have an England representative, albeit at training level at the moment, is another milestone to tick off.

“It is a great day for everyone in the Academy and everyone within the Club as a whole.”
