Brentford Development Squad midfield player Emmanule Oyeleke joins Aldershot Town on loan

Development Squad midfield player Emmanuel Oyeleke has joined Aldershot Town on loan.

Emmanuel, better known to most as Manny, completed the move to the Vanarama Conference side today, Thursday October 16.

He will remain with the Hampshire club initially until January 13 2015.

Manny signed a new one-year contract in the summer after spending most of the 2013/14 season on loan at Aldershot, playing 40 times for The Shots and scoring five goals.

The midfield player, who can also play at right back, made his Brentford debut in an FA Cup Second Round tie against Wrexham in December 2011 and has made two further appearances for The Bees, in a League One game against Milton Keynes Dons and in a Capital One Cup tie against Dagenham and Redbridge last August.

The 21-year-old has played five games for the Development Squad this season.

Ose Aibangee, Brentford FC Academy Director, said: “Manny did very well at Aldershot last season and we offered him a new contract to see how he would continue to develop.

“It is now right for him to go out and play more First Team football.

“He learned a lot about himself during that spell at Aldershot last season and we learned a lot about him.

“More First Team games, especially at a highly competitive level like the Conference, will make him a better player.”
