Charlie Adams extends loan from Brentford to Stevenage until December 21
Brentford attacking midfield player Charlie Adams has extended his Youth Loan at Sky Bet League Two Stevenage for a further month.
But Josh Clarke, who spent the last month at the Hertfordshire club as well, has returned to The Bees as his deal has expired.
Charlie and Josh both joined Stevenage last month.
Josh made one substitute appearance, in defeat at Portsmouth, but Charlie has played six games, starting four of them.
Charlie will now stay at Stevenage until December 21.
Both players were promoted to the First Team squad towards the end of the 2013/14 season which saw Brentford secure promotion to the Sky Bet Championship.
Charlie came through the club’s youth ranks having first been spotted playing Futsal with the Brentford FC Community Sports Trust.
The 20-year-old made his first team debut as a substitute in a 2-0 defeat away at Carlisle United in March 2013 and made three further substitute appearances towards the end of the 2013/14 season.
Josh is another Academy graduate, who was playing park football prior to joining The Bees as a 17-year-old in 2011.
The winger signed his first professional deal in 2013, as part of the Development Squad, and made his first-team debut in the Capital One Cup defeat to Derby County in August 2013.
The 19-year-old also featured in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy tie away at Peterborough United before making his league debut at Colchester United in April.
