Development Squad player Emmanuel Oyeleke extends stay at Brentford to 2015

Development Squad midfield player Emmanuel Oyeleke has signed a new one-year contract.
Emmanuel, better known to most as Manny, was at Griffin Park to sign the new deal, which will keep him at Griffin Park until June 2015.
Manny spent most of the 2013/14 season on loan at Skrill Premier Aldershot Town, playing 40 times for the Hampshire side and scoring five goals.
The midfield player, who can also play at right back, made his Brentford debut in an FA Cup Second Round tie against Wrexham in December 2011 and has made two further appearances for The Bees, in a League One game against Milton Keynes Dons and in a Capital One Cup tie against Dagenham and Redbridge last August.
The 21-year-old played 11 Under-21 Professional Development League Two South games for Brentford’s Development Squad in 2012/13, scoring three times.
In 2013/14 he played seven Under-21 games, scoring once.
Manny excelled for Brentford’s Youth and Reserve teams in 2010/11, his first season at the Club, and continued to prove himself at Development Squad level when completing his scholarship in 2011/12.
He signed a two-year professional contract in the summer of 2012 that has now been renewed.
Manny will not qualify for Under-21 football in 2014/15.
The Club has, however, decided to keep him on as part of the Development Squad group and use him as an overage player if appropriate.
Ose Aibangee, Brentford FC Academy Director, said: “As I have said before, the policy now is to only offer contracts to players that we believe could play for Brentford in The Championship.
“Manny has done well for us over the past few years and we want to see how he continues to develop.
“He performed well out on loan this season, playing in a different professional environment
“We had good reports about him on the pitch and, just as importantly, good reports about him off the pitch
“He will now have the chance to put all he has learned in to action in a Brentford shirt.
“Manny could have gone elsewhere but has faith in what we want to achieve here at Brentford.
“He trusts us to guide him and do what is best for him and we will do that.”
