Striker signs for Sky Bet League Two club on loan

Development Squad striker Luke Norris has joined Sky Bet League Two Dagenham and Redbridge on loan.
The 20-year-old linked up with the East London side today and completed the move.
He will stay with The Daggers until February 23.
It is Luke’s second loan move of the season as he spent just under two months with Northampton Town.
He scored five goals in his first six games for Northampton but then did not start for The Cobblers between November 23 and Boxing Day, December 26.
He ended his loan spell as Northampton’s top scorer with five goals from 12 games in all competitions and still holds that accolade around a month after he left.
Luke, who is on a Development Squad contract, played three games for Brentford’s First Team this season before joining Northampton and scored in a Johnstone’s Paint Trophy win over AFC Wimbledon.
He has scored one in five games for the Development Squad in the Under-21 Professional Development League Two South this season.
Ose Aibangee, Brentford FC Academy Director, said: “We are pleased that Luke has another opportunity to go out on loan.
“He did very well at Northampton, particularly at the start of his loan, and got better by playing regular First Team football.
“This loan move will give him another chance to do that.
“Dagenham and Redbridge are just on the edge of the Play-Off race so there will be additional pressure for him, in a team fighting for something.
“That will only help him as a player.
“We always say that going out on loan is as much about the experience away from the match day as the game time and Luke will get to know a new environment and have to show he can deal with that.
“He is at the stage of his career where he needs to play Football League matches and we will see how he develops over the next month.”
Luke has been at Brentford since the summer of 2010, when he signed a scholarship.
He turned professional in the summer of 2012 after excelling in the Youth Team and signed a new one-year Development Squad contract in the summer.
The striker finished as Brentford’s top scorer in the Professional Development League last season, hitting ten goals in 18 games.
Luke played seven games for Boreham Wood in the Conference South last season, scoring three goals.
He made his Brentford debut as a 17-year-old in April 2011 when he was a first-year scholar and has made five First Team appearances in total, scoring once.
