Brentford Development Squad defender joins Evo-Stick Northern Premier League side until January 6
Brentford Development Squad defender Kieran Morris has joined Stourbridge on loan.
The 19-year-old linked up with the Evo-Stick Northern Premier League side earlier this week and will stay with them until January 6.
Kieran had been on the books of Stourbridge at youth level before joining Brentford.
He signed a new one-year contract in the summer after originally joining The Bees in 2013.
Ose Aibangee, Brentford Academy Director, said: “This is a chance for Kieran to go out and play First Team football.
“He knows Stourbridge and they know him and I am sure that will help him settle in.
“Kieran has continued to progress this season but plays in a position where there is lots of competition.
“With the busy Christmas period coming up he can get games at Stourbridge and we can keep an eye on how he develops.”
The centre back played for England Schoolboys in the Under-18 Centenary Shield and England Colleges in 2012/13, as well as playing for Brentford at Youth Team and Development Squad level before making the permanent switch to West London.
Kieran played nine times for the Development Squad in 2013/14 and has added another nine Under-21 Professional Development League Two appearances this season, mostly as a substitute.
Stourbridge are 11th in the table having played fewer games than most of the teams above them.
