Club staff visit FC Midtjylland, Danish Superliga leaders where Matthew Benham has a majority shareholding

A group of Brentford Football Club staff were in Denmark earlier this week to catch up with their counterparts at FC Midtjylland.
Brentford FC Owner Matthew Benham bought the majority shareholding in Danish football club FC Midtjylland and the associated handball side FCM Handball this summer.
Brentford welcomed staff from FC Midtjylland to Griffin Park earlier this season and have now made the return trip.
There was an opportunity to visit FC Midtjylland’s stadium and Academy and a chance to share ideas and best practice.
The Brentford delegation also watched as FC Midtjylland beat FC Vestsjælland 2-1 on Monday night.
That was the fifth win in a row for FCM, as they are known, and they are ten points clear at the top of the Danish Superliga.
Brentford FC Chief Executive Mark Devlin and Operations Manager Alan Walsh spoke to FCM’s website during the trip and those interviews can be seen below.
