Information from supporters on ticketing and access for Brentford FC match days at Griffin Park
Brentford Football Club would like to inform supporters about new entry arrangements for matches at Griffin Park.
The new arrangements will be in place for every match played at Griffin Park in the 2014/15 season.
The Club has signed a new agreement with Advanced Ticketing and TeamCard to install an electronic ticketing and access control system at Griffin Park.
There has been investment in new entry hardware and software so all tickets will be read electronically on all entry gates.
There will no longer be the option to pay on the turnstiles for any match at Griffin Park.
Those who bought Season Tickets will have received a Season Card through the post while Club Members will have received a Membership Card.
Season Card Holders are reminded that their Season Card only grants them access to Brentford’s 23 Sky Bet Championship home fixtures, no away games, cup games or pre-season friendlies.
All cardsbhave an identifying barcode which will be read by new electronic readers on entry to the stadium.
Members can buy tickets for individual matches on the Brentford FC ticketing website, add them to their cards and use the card at the turnstiles.
Membership Cards will allow supporters entry in to the ground but as Griffin Park is now an allocated seating stadium; supporters will need to carry a record of their seat/terrace purchase.
They will therefore need to bring a printed version of their seat confirmation to Griffin Park with them.
As Griffin Park is an allocated seating stadium, no “reserved” stickers are on Season Card Holders’ seats, all supporters must sit in the seat they have purchased.
Those who do not have a Season Card or Membership Card will need a ticket with a barcode to gain entry to the match.
If more than one ticket is purchased for a game, only the members’ ticket is loaded to the Membership Card.
Any other tickets purchased not put on a Membership Card will either be a print-at-home ticket, which can be seen below:
Or a ticket bought from the Brentford FC Ticket Office, which will look like:
As part of the summer system upgrade, the stands at Griffin Park have been renamed on the ground plan.
They will now be named after the roads around the ground on which they sit – Braemar Road, Brook Road, New Road and Ealing Road.
On the stadium plan the stands have been allocated a letter while blocks within the stands have been numbered.
The Ealing Road terrace is now block E100 while at the Brook Road end of the ground the terrace is block A400 and the seats are Blocks A401-A405.
On the New Road side of the ground the Blocks are now N500 to N508.
The Family Section will be situated in Blocks N506, N507 and N508.
The paddock on the Braemar Road side of the ground will have Blocks P200 to P205 while the upper tier will have Blocks B300 to B305.
Every block around the ground has been renamed so the former Bees United Stand Block D is now Block B304 and Bill Axbey Stand Block C is now Block N502.
New signage is being installed at Griffin Park to further explain the new layout and a ground plan can be seen here and downloaded at Griffin Park stadium map summer 2014.
The best way for supporters to buy tickets for Brentford matches is online and there is the option to print tickets at home or have them delivered for an additional fee.
Telephone bookings will now to incur a £2.50 transaction charge and £1 postage charge - not per ticket - but online orders are exempt from all credit card and/or transaction charges.
Ticket sales for All Ticket games will end at 4pm the day before a match.
For matches that are not All Ticket, advance prices will be in operation until 4pm the day before a match.
Any tickets bought after this time will cost more.
Match day purchases – for games that are not designated All Ticket – can be made from the Ticket Office, located in Braemar Road, on the day of a match.
No tickets will be available on the turnstiles.
Supporters who arrive at Griffin Park without a ticket will have to queue at the Ticket Office to buy one; this may be a lengthy process.
Brentford supporters are reminded of the following information for logging in to the ticketing website:
Log in using your member number (without the zeroes) or your registered email address and a password.
