Striker given second goal against Peterborough United after review of video and photographic evidence

Brentford’s second goal in their 3-2 Sky Bet League One win over Peterborough United has been officially credited to Will Grigg.

The Bees were trailing 2-1 with ten minutes to go when they levelled it up.

After a Clayton Donaldson shot was blocked, Alan McCormack put a cross in to the box and Saville got up to direct a header on to the post – the ball rolled across the line and ended up in the back of the net with Will Grigg, Jonathan Douglas and Michael Bostwick all in there with it.

The goal was given to George Saville on the night but, following a review of video and photographic evidence by First Team staff, has now been given to Will Grigg.

Press Association have changed the official record to reflect it as Will’s goal.
