Striker's loan at Plymouth Argyle ends

Striker Paul Hayes has returned to Brentford after his loan spell at Sky Bet League Two side Plymouth Argyle ended.

The 30-year-old joined the Devon side on loan last month.

He made seven appearances for Argyle, starting five games and completing 90 minutes once.

He failed to score during his time in League Two.

Paul is now back at Griffin Park after his loan ended on Saturday, November 2.

The striker joined Brentford from Charlton Athletic on a three-year deal in August 2012.

He scored six goals in 32 games in his first season at Griffin Park and also went out on loan to Crawley Town before returning to play for The Bees in the League One Play-Off Semi-Final and Final.

Paul started out at Norwich City and before arriving at Griffin Park he also played for Scunthorpe United, Barnsley, Huddersfield Town and Preston North End, as well as having a loan spell at Wycombe Wanderers.
