Antonio German makes Gillingham debut

Antonio German made his debut for Gillingham on Tuesday night.

The Development Squad striker joined the promotion-chasing npower League Two side on Tuesday afternoon.

He was named as a substitute for The Gills against Oxford United and came on in the second half.

He came close to opening the scoring but Oxford hit a late winner to take the points.

Gillingham remain top of League Two with 12 games to play.

Alfie Mawson helped Maidenhead United to a 2-1 home win over Boreham Wood on Tuesday.

The Development Squad central defender joined the Blue Square Bet South club for a second loan spell last week.

He played in the centre of defence as Maidenhead beat Boreham Wood.

The Berkshire club went 2-0 up and although the visitors pulled a goal back, Maidenhead did enough to win.

Youth Team central defender Stefan Tomasevic is back at Northwood.

The teenager was with the Evo-Stick Southern League Central Division side on work experience until he linked up with the Montenegro Under-19 side last month.

Having returned from the training camp Stefan went back in to the Northwood team for a Middlesex Senior Cup Semi-Final against Ashford Town (Middlesex).

He was taken off after half an hour with an injury as the game ended 0-0.

Ashford won the penalty shoot-out 5-4 to reach the final.

Max Herbert is at Ashford, who also play in the Evo-Stick Southern League Central Division, on a work experience basis.

He was not selected for the match.

Brentford scholars Josh Clarke and Tyrell Miller-Rodney are currently with Carshalton Athletic, of the Ryman Premier League, on work experience.

The pair are both in the second year of a two-year scholarship but qualify for the Club’s Under-21 side due to their age.

Tyrell was in the Carshalton side that played away to Lewes on Tuesday night.

Carshalton were 2-0 down at half time when the game was halted by a floodlight failure and abandoned.

Josh did not play.

Emmanuel Oyeleke was an unused substitute as Northampton Town beat Bristol Rovers on Tuesday night.

Manny, as he is known, is on a Development Squad contract at Griffin Park but has been given a squad number for the season by Manager Uwe Rösler.

He has spent the last four weeks at Northampton on loan, playing twice.
