Striker to stay at Boreham Wood

Brentford’s Development Squad striker Luke Norris has extended his loan spell at Boreham Wood.

The 19-year-old joined the Blue Squad Bet South club at the start of December and has scored once in five appearances.

His initial loan with the Hertfordshire club was due to expire today, January 3, but the deal has now been extended until January 30.

Luke will now be available for Boreham Wood’s Blue Square Bet South match against Eastbourne Borough tomorrow, Saturday January 5, and one against Maidenhead United on Wednesday, January 9.

Luke had made two appearances as a substitute for Brentford’s First Team and the striker – formerly known as Luke Hacker – has scored goals prolifically for Brentford’s Youth Team and Development Squad.

Luke has played nine games for Brentford’s Development Squad in the Under-21 Professional Development League Two South this season, six as a starter.

He has scored five goals and is joint top scorer with fellow striker Antonio German.

He also scored in Brentford’s Middlesex Senior Charity Cup win over Staines Lammas.
