Alan Kernaghan and Peter Farrell leave their positions at Brentford Football Club
Alan Kernaghan and Peter Farrell have left their positions at Brentford Football Club.
Alan Kernaghan worked as Assistant Manager and Peter Farrell as First Team Coach under previous Brentford Manager Uwe Rösler.
Last Saturday, December 7, Uwe Rösler left his position as Brentford Manager to take up the managerial position at Wigan Athletic.
Former Sporting Director Mark Warburton took over as Brentford boss and won his first game in charge against Oldham Athletic on Saturday, December 14.
Mark Warburton said: “Peter and Alan have worked tirelessly over the past two seasons and have made an essential contribution to taking the Club forward.
“Whilst we have spoken about continuity, it is equally as essential that I put my own fingerprint on the squad and the coaching staff.
“I need to introduce people I have a close working relationship with to help take the Club to the next level.
“I would like to thank Peter and Alan for their contribution and wish them all the best for their future careers.”
Peter Farrell arrived at Brentford in the summer of 2011 with Uwe Rösler while Alan Kernaghan was appointed as Assistant Manager in February 2012.
Details of Mark Warburton’s new assistant will follow shortly.
