Prize for George Pilbeam

The inaugural Youth Team Player of the Year trophy has been awarded to George Pilbeam.
Youth Team Manager Jeremy Steele presented the award to George on the pitch at half-time of Brentford's npower League One match against Portsmouth.
George has made 16 Under-18 Professional Development League Two South appearances this season and was ever present in The Bees' FA Youth Cup campaign.
The Trophy has been donated by the family of Mary Halder to remember her service to the Club.
Mary was a supporter of Brentford for decades, and worked as a turnstile operator for more than 25 years and had also sold tickets and worked in the Club’s Superstore.
Mary, a passionate Bees supporter, will also have a plaque mounted at turnstile 12 in Braemar Road.
Ose Aibangee, Head of Youth Development, said: ““George has shown an exceptional work ethic and attitude to both his training and his academic work since beginning his Scholarship last June.
“George has also made the step up to the Development Squad on five occasions this season and has impressed with his combative style and committed displays.”
