Bees remain unbeaten on Germany Tour
Brentford drew their second tour match with FC Erzgebirge Aue in a competitive work out in Reichenbach.
Uwe Rösler picked a strong starting line-up, with the hosts Second Bundesliga status in mind.
After a tame opening, it was Brentford that took the lead in the sixteenth minute.
Centre back Kevin Schlitte inexplicably handled in the penalty area from a Logan right-wing cross, and referee Halle had no hesitation in pointing to the spot.
Myles Weston stepped up to take the penalty kick, sending Martin Mannel the wrong way.
Eight minutes later, FC Erzgebirge Aue levelled the scores.
Halil Samvram's header was partially saved by Richard Lee but the referee adjudged the ball to have crossed the line.
At the break, Rösler made a limited amount of substitutions, Jake Reeves and Simon Moore replacing Adam Forshaw and Richard Lee respectively.
FC Erzgebirge Aue took control in the second forty-five, limiting the Bees to long range efforts.
The chance of the game arrived in the 84th minute, Bees substitute Andy Taylor fed Clayton Donaldson but he could not get his shot away in time.
The match ended in a draw with some robust tackling by both teams towards the close.
