Brentford have completed the signing of Millwall left back Scott Barron
Scott Barron has completed his move from Millwall to Brentford Football Club after passing a medical and signing the paperwork this afternoon.
The Club announced this morning that a deal had been agreed to bring the left back from South London to Griffin Park.
The formalities of the deal have now been complete and Scott is a Brentford player.
He has agreed a two-year contract at Griffin Park.
The 26-year-old was part of the Millwall team which won promotion from League One via the Play-Offs in 2010 and he has played more than 50 games in The Championship in the past two seasons.
Brentford Manager Uwe Rösler said: “I am very happy to bring Scott to Griffin Park.
“He is the right age for us and he has the qualities we are looking for.
“He has shown those qualities in League One and has won promotion from this division.
“He is another player who knows what it takes to be successful at this level.
“Scott has also played in the Championship and has shown how good he is at that level.
“He will train with us tomorrow and I am looking forward to working with him.”
Scott started out at Ipswich Town and made his first appearance for the Suffolk side against Brentford in a 2004 League Cup tie.
He joined Millwall in 2007 and has made more than 130 appearances for The Lions.
Scott spoke to Bees Player after completing his move – see an interview with the new signing later today.
