Brentford fans travelling to watch the pre-season friendly against VfB Stuttgart on Saturday 16 July can now buy a ticket. The match will be played at the Zeppelinstadion Friedrichshafen des VfB Friedrichshafen, at the very southern tip of Germany, close to the Austrian border. This match will be open to fans and will kick-off at 3pm local time.
Ticket prices for the game have now been confirmed. They cost between €13 and €24 for adults depending on the location in the stadium. There are reduced prices for concessions. They can be bought from the match hosts now.
Stuttgart – Verein für Bewegungsspiele Stuttgart 1893 e. V. – are one of the most consistent sides in German football. They have been in the Bundesliga, the German top flight, for all but two seasons since 1977, winning the title three times in that period. They finished 15th in the table last season and have two top ten finishes in the last five years.
Brentford will play six matches as part of their preparations for the 2022/23 Premier League season. Five of these have been confirmed and four will be open to fans. A game against Brighton and Hove Albion on Tuesday 26 July will be behind closed doors.
The pre-season friendly programme will begin on Saturday 9 July with a trip to Boreham Wood. A game against VfL Wolfsburg will be played in Wolfsburg on Saturday 23 July. The Bees will also host Real Betis Balompié on Saturday 30 July.
Brentford will be in south-west Germany for a pre-season training camp from Tuesday 12 July until Tuesday 19 July and will play Stuttgart on Saturday 16 July. It is planned there will be another game in the area on Tuesday 19 July. More information will be announced when confirmed.
