Brentford B return to action on Tuesday evening as they face Dartford in the Quarter-Final of the London Senior Cup in a 7:45pm kick-off.
The match will be held at Dartford’s Bericote Powerhouse Princes Park Stadium and you can be there to support the young Bees as they aim to seal themselves a place in their second Semi-Final of the season having got to that stage in the Middlesex Senior Cup.
The winner of this fixture will face either Erith Town or Barking who are set to play their Quarter-Final on 16 March. The other Semi-Final has been drawn already and Hendon FC will face Haringey Borough.
This will be the B Team’s first fixture in England since 25 January when they beat Harrow Borough on penalties to secure their place in this fixture. Since then they have competed in the Atlantic Cup in Portugal where they played three fixtures before their match earlier this week away from home against AS Monaco.
Dartford compete in the National League South and sealed themselves a place in this round having beaten Cockfosters 9-0. They also beat Athletic Newham 5-2 in the opening round of the competition.
The side are unbeaten at home since the start of the season in all competitions and will go into the match confident as they sit fourth in the league table. They didn’t play at the weekend, and their last match saw them beaten 2-1 away from home against Hungerford Town. Dartford are this season’s top scorers in the London Senior Cup having netted 14 times in their two fixtures.
Steve King took charge of Dartford in the early stages of the 2019/20 season. He took the role with the club occupying the bottom four but went on to guide them to the play-off final here they were beaten by Weymouth on penalties.
