Brentford B head to Foxbury Avenue this afternoon in a 1pm kick-off where they will face National League side Aldershot Town.
The young Bees, who are on a positive run of form of late as they return to full fitness, will go into the match following a win over Southend United and an impressive performance in their 1-1 draw with a strong Crystal Palace XI.
The match against Town was originally scheduled to take place at the EBB Stadium, however it will now take place at Glebe FC.
The Shots are preparing for another campaign in the National League and the match with Brentford will be the side’s last fixture to fine tune their preparations. Recent results have seen the side beat Sutton United whilst they drew with Haringey Borough and beat Slough Town 2-1 in pre-season.
Danny Searle’s men get their season under way on Saturday 21 August when they welcome Chesterfield in a 3pm kick-off. Shortly after that, they travel to Boreham Wood before hosting Yeovil Town to close out the month.
Tickets are available on the day of the game at the turnstiles.
Ticket details are as follows:
Students/U16s/Over 65s: £2
Under-16s free with a full paying adult
The young Bees came up against Aldershot twice last season and picked up one defeat and one win. The first match saw Neil MacFarlane’s side beaten 3-2 away from home but they bounced back to beat them 1-0 at Jersey Road on 30 October 2020.
