Preview: Braintree Town vs Brentford B

Bees head to Essex this evening

Brentford B travel to Cressing Road this evening for a preseason match against Braintree Town. The Iron host our second squad in a 7.45pm kick-off to the North-East of the M25.

Tickets are available on the gate tonight, priced at: £5 Adults and £3 OAPs and Under-18s. The ground is on Clockhouse Way, Braintree, CM7 3AL.

Town are now a National League South side following their relegation from the fifth tier last season. They've twice won promotion from this division in the past decade, the last time as Play-Off winners in 2018.

Neil MacFarlane's side come into the game on the back of a 7-1 defeat to Chelsea and a 5-0 win over Bedfont, their first two fixtures of the 2019/20 season. While the hosts most recent game was a 1-1 draw with West Ham United Under-23s.
