B Team live stream from Jersey Road tomorrow

Watch Brentford B take on Reading U23 from 1pm

6 November 2018

Brentford B are in action tomorrow afternoon when they face Reading U23s at Jersey Road in West London. You can watch the game live on YouTube when we stream the game just before kick-off at 1pm.

Jersey Road is also open to spectators who want to watch the team in person, with limited parking available at Brentford's Training Ground in Osterley. Any fans wishing to travel to the match can use the post code TW5 0TP.

Kevin O'Connor's squad will likely include Rico Henry as the fullback continues his recovery from injury. The team are fresh off a trip to Scotland that saw them take Rangers all the way in a 3-2 defeat at Ibrox.

Canice Carroll was replaced after 76 minutes with a knock, but could return straight away after taking part in training today (Tuesday). Matej Majka and Jonny Mitchell have both been absent from recent squads but could be in line for a return in front of our cameras.

Sunday's match in Glasgow was a huge occasion for Henrik Johansson, who returned to the bench for the first time since he suffered another muscle injury at the end of last season at Griffin Park. The Swedish winger didn't make an appearance north of the border but will definitely be in contention for a place tomorrow.

We'll post a link to the live stream on our social media channels, where you can currently catch up on all the reaction to the Rangers game. We have interviews with Kevin O'Connor and Canice Carroll, as well as match highlights from Ibrox.

Match Report: Brentford B 6 Reading U23 0

Royals hit for six as Bees include Judge, Marcondes and Clarke

7 November 2018

Brentford B emerged victorious at Jersey Road with a 6-0 victory over Reading Under-23s on Wednesday afternoon. Joe Hardy netted a brace as Alan Judge, Henrik Johansson, Luka Racic and Emiliano Marcondes also scored.

Kevin O'Connor was also able to deploy Josh Clarke and Rico Henry from the First Team setup in front of our Live Stream on YouTube in Osterley.

It took just 23 seconds for Hardy to score the first goal, lobbing the ball over goalkeeper Liam Driscoll from the edge of the box. It was a lightning fast start that continued into the first half.

With eight minutes gone it was a two-goal lead. A ball over the top of the Reading defence was nodded towards goal by Racic. His effort evaded the keeper and found the net at the far post.

At the other end, Patrik Gunnarsson was in action to deny a low shot from Joel Rollinson from sneaking in at his near post. The Icelandic stopper threw himself to his left and parried the ball wide.

Then it was three for The Bees. Hardy was released on goal and wasted no time in slotting the ball under the onrushing goalkeeper to become the B Team's all-time leading scorer. He now has 23 in all competitions, one ahead of Marcus Forss.

Gunnarsson had to be alert to a second effort that nearly crept in after half an hour. The ball was let fly by Jack Nolan and the keeper had to be sharp to tip the ball away from danger.

Before the break there was time for Marcondes to take his chance. Collecting the ball from Josh Dasilva, he then took aim and shot from 20 yards and the ball flew into the top right corner of the net. It was a fitting way to complete a 45 minutes of football before he was brought off in the second half.

The hour mark saw a change for Brentford B that allowed Henrik Johansson to get only his second appearance since 1 February 2017. The Swedish winger's last start for The Bees was actually against Reading at Hogwood Park, where he suffered a muscle tear that has plagued him for nearly two years.

He was on the scoresheet before the end. Jan Zamburek was fouled in the box and instead of Hardy completing his hat-trick, the striker offered the ball to Johansson. The 20-year-old stepped up and slotted the ball into the bottom corner, making it 5-0.

Before the end there was still time for Judge to get in on the act. He curled a free-kick around the wall with two minutes to go and it found the net.

Brentford B: Gunnarsson; Clarke, Racic (sub Trialist 79), Oliver, Henry (sub Johansson 60); Oksanen (sub Cole 68), Marcondes (sub C. Dasilva h/t), J. Dasilva; Judge, Hardy, Titov (sub Zamburek 68)
