Nour Aboul Kheir is a dedicated and hardworking player for Brentford FC Women’s First Team. Her tireless work rate and passion for the game set her apart as a versatile player, known for her perseverance on the pitch.
Nour’s football journey began at the age of nine with Servette FC in Switzerland. Her talent quickly became evident, and by the age of 15, she broke into the first team, showcasing her skills at an elite level. After moving to England in 2019 to study at Loughborough University, she continued to develop her footballing career, playing for both the university team and Loughborough Lightning. In July 2023, Nour signed with Brentford, marking a new chapter in her career.
Off the pitch, Nour is a graphic designer at a football management and media agency, New Era Ingenious & Global Sports. Her job places her in close proximity to football fans, players, and pundits, all of which inspire her to push harder in her football career. She credits her experience in football with improving her teamwork and work ethic, both in her professional life and on the field.
One of the standout moments of her career came at the age of 17, when she scored the winning goal to take her team to the Swiss Cup final—a moment she still treasures. Reflecting on her time at Brentford, Nour recalls her first appearance at the Gtech Community Stadium as a milestone in her career. Playing on such a stage symbolised how far women’s football has come and the growing opportunities for female athletes.
For this season, her primary goal is to help the team achieve promotion while enjoying the journey along the way. Nour firmly believes that football is 90% mentality and 10% talent, and she encourages young girls to work hard and remain determined.
Looking to the future, Nour envisions Brentford Women climbing the ranks in English football, supported by experienced staff and fresh talent. She also hopes to be part of the growth of women’s football, both as a player and potentially as part of the media, shedding light on the incredible stories of female footballers and inspiring future generations to pursue the sport.
