Luke started his career with Crystal Palace in the Performance Analysis department after completing a bachelor's degree at the University of Chichester and then a master's degree in Cardiff.
During this time he was also working on his coaching as a football coach at soccer camps for youngsters between the age of six to 18. In 2010, he became the lead analyst of UWIC men's football team before moving to Brentford a year later.
He joined in June 2011, becoming a First Team Performance Analyst under then then-head-of-department Neil McIlhargey. With Neil moving to Rangers with Mark Warburton in 2015, Luke stepped into the lead role with The Bees and has been in charge ever since.
Growing up, Luke supported Liverpool because his dad used to take him to a few games a season. His favourite players are Robbie Fowler and Stephen Gerrard. If he did not work in football, his dream job would be a property developer.
Looking back, if he had to give himself advice at the start of his career, he would say keep notes around tactics and styles. For someone wanting to do something similar to his role, he would advise them to work hard, and to learn from the knowledge that you are exposed to.
Outside of football, Luke enjoys golf. He likes watching Ozark, You, Homeland and House of Cards. His favourite food is curry. In the future he wants to see the Northern Lights!
