Callum Wilson joined hometown club Coventry City as a schoolboy and made his senior debut for the Sky Blues at the age of 17.

After loan spells with Kettering Town and Tamworth in non-league football, Wilson established himself in Coventry’s first team during the 2013/14 season, scoring 22 goals.

His performances that campaign earned him a place in the League One PFA Team of the Year, while he was also named Coventry’s Player of the Year.

Wilson joined Bournemouth in the summer of 2014 and helped the Cherries win promotion to the Premier League in his first season on the south coast, finishing the campaign as the club’s leading scorer with 20 Championship goals.

He scored a Premier League hat-trick for Bournemouth against West Ham on just his third top-flight appearance in August 2015, and went on to register 67 goals across six seasons with the club.

Wilson moved to Newcastle United in September 2020 and continued to score regularly in the Premier League, including a career-best 18 league goals during the 2022/23 campaign.

That form saw him named in England’s squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, alongside current Bees team-mate Jordan Henderson, where he assisted Jack Grealish’s goal in the Three Lions’ group-stage win over Iran.

Wilson won the EFL Cup with Newcastle in 2025, appearing as a substitute in the final victory over Liverpool.

At international level, Wilson has won nine caps and scored twice for the Three Lions, having netted on his senior debut against USA at Wembley Stadium in November 2018.
