Rico Henry cut a frustrated figure following Brentford’s 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

After a stop-start opening 45 minutes, the Bees took the lead after the break courtesy of Ben Mee’s overhead kick.

Rúben Neves’ first-time finish two minutes later earned Wolves a share of the spoils.

“We came into the game wanting to win,” said Henry.

“The gaffer was talking about wanting us to bounce back – that’s what we brought into the game today. We started better; we started fast.

“It was frustrating to concede two minutes after we’d scored. We needed to block the shot; a few of the boys were around it.

“It was a good goal from Ben Mee - I’ve not seen him do that before! Credit to him and credit to the boys for digging deep.

“We created a couple of chances, which we could have scored from, and that’s something to take into the next game. The performance was better than the last game, which is good.”
