Brentford head coach Thomas Frank believes his side could have got something from a 'marginal' game at Molineux against Wolves.
The Bees were beaten 2-0 by Julen Lopetegui's side - the goals coming from Diego Costa and Hwang Hee-Chan.
And, reflecting on the defeat, Frank stated that his side were unfortunate for both opposition goals on Saturday.
"It was a very even game that we could have got something out of but didn't," he said. "There was a lot of effort from the players; a lot of willpower.
"I think this performance was at least as good, maybe a tiny bit better, than West Ham away and Southampton away, where we managed to get three points in both.
"First half, in many ways, we were good and probably had the biggest chance of the game to Josh Dasilva. It was a ricocheted situation that didn't drop to us; their two goals came from ricocheted balls.
"That tells you a little bit about this game - it's marginal, when it tips one side to another. Today, unfortunately, it tipped to Wolves' side.
"Until the 2-0 goal, it was very even. After that, it was still even, but we were running after them, we couldn't get the pressure right, and we couldn't keep the ball for long enough spells, unfortunately."
Looking ahead to the Bees' next game against Aston Villa at the Gtech Community Stadium, Frank wants his side to stay consistent in their preparation for a clash against one of the in-form sides in the division.
"It's all about consistency and to keep doing what we've been working towards for many years here at Brentford," he added.
"Especially things like training well, performing well, analysing, reflecting, and moving on again.
"We do that if we win, we lose, we draw - it's all about that."
