Kaye Furo has explained why he has joined Brentford on a permanent deal from Club Brugge, describing the move as a "dream come true."
The 18-year-old striker, a Belgium youth international, has penned a five-and-a-half-year deal with the Bees, subject to international clearance and work permit.
"It’s very exciting to be here and I just feel very grateful. It’s a dream come true for me to come to a club like Brentford," said Furo.
"Brentford is the right club because of the energy from the moment I came here and the moment I saw everybody for the first time. The moment I came here, I saw this was a family club and the energy is real, it’s not being faked or played.
"I really felt this is the right club for me to develop as a striker, and to become one of the best strikers one day. For me, that’s my main focus.
"Every day when I come to training, I'll get my head down and continue working until I can become what I want to become."
A 6ft 3in centre-forward who has featured in the Belgian Pro League and Champions League this season, the exciting teenager, when asked to describe himself as a player, replied: "Speed and power.
"I’m a striker that likes to do everything in the air - heading, jumping and contesting with defenders.
"I can’t wait just to work here and to become a better version of myself. I really can’t wait to start playing and to start being part of the club."
