Henrik Dalsgaard played the full match as Denmark beat one of England's summer opponents Panama 1-0 in Brondby last night.

Pione Sisto scored the only goal for The Danes shortly after Panama's Blas Perez had been shown a straight red card. Dalsgaard had left the ball for Kasper Schmeichel to clear when Perez lept into the aerial challenge with his foot outstretched and clattered the Leicester City keeper. Dalsgaard was booked for his reaction in the aftermath of the challenge, alongside Panama captain Felipe Baloy.

Chris Mepham made his international debut for Wales against China on Thursday afternoon British Time.

In charge of the squad for the first time, Ryan Giggs oversaw a 6-0 win and handed Mepham his first cap after 70 minutes. Gareth Bale netted a hat-trick to become Wales' all-time leading goalscorer as Sam Vokes added a brace and Harry Wilson scored on his 21st birthday. Mepham nearly got himself a goal in the final stages, nodding a corner kick just over the bar from the near post.
