Robert Rowan, Brentford Football Club Technical Director, died at the age of 28 on Monday 12 November. Robert had been the Club’s Technical Director since the start of February and had been with Brentford for just short of four years. He will leave a lasting legacy at Brentford FC thanks to his work in scouting and the recruitment of players as well as with Brentford B.

Robert died of heart failure in his sleep in the early hours of Monday morning. Phil Giles, Brentford FC Co-Director of Football, reflects on the death of his friend and how the past week has been. Phil also pays tribute to his friend and looks at the legacy he will leave.
