“So many wonderful memories of Griffin Park and Brentford, home and away," said Mel Collins, talking about his life as a Bees fan. "I have been all over the country with the Bees including the Millennium and Wembley.”

Mel, a local councillor, spoke to My London this week. He discussed his memories of Griffin Park as the Club prepares to move to a new stadium and his life as a blind football fan. He recalls his first game and talks about Brentford being only the second club in the country to create a commentary scheme for blind supporters.

While at Griffin Park, Mel also worked with Hounslow Council's communications team to put together a video. He reflected on some of his best memories of our 116-year-old ground. Watch below.
