With the academic year coming to an end, Brentford FC Community Sports Trust has been showcasing the work it does in schools. Our Trust has been working in the local community for decades. They work in schools delivering sport to thousands of children every week.
The Trust supports more than 100 primary schools with their P.E curriculum and extra-curricular activities. The activities are linked directly to the national curriculum – helping thousands of children get active and enjoy sport. Plus, teachers benefit from specialist P.E training, which complements their continuing professional development.
Coaches deliver a tailored P.E provision for all school ages, adapting sessions to the needs of the school. Experienced and qualified coaches will aim to improve pupils’ technical, physical, social and psychological skills. Have a look at it in action in one school below.
