Brentford B winger Tony Yogane was left delighted to have grabbed his first goal for the young Bees as he was part of the side who drew 2-2 with Queens Park Rangers Under-21s on Friday afternoon.

The young Bees were twice pegged back in a game which they dominated for the first period before the away side battle back to ensure the game ended level.

“I think it was a good game which was very end-to-end. We were unfortunate to not get the win,” said Tony.

“The first half was good, but we should have taken our chances. In the second half we got a bit sloppy which is something that we need to work on.”

Discussing getting another start for the side alongside Isaac Holland, who also joined the side from Sheffield Wednesday in the summer, Tony is pleased to contribute to his new team.

He explained: “I’m happy to have got my opportunity and to have taken my chance to impress today. My decision making, when to go one-v-one or play it inside, was good today.

“I’m really happy about my goal. Some may say it was a cross but I really meant it! The wind helped. We’re happy with the run (of form) but we’re a little disappointed with today because we should have won.

“I think that we have both (Tony and Isaac) settled well and are impressing. To get a start, we’re happy with the boys and I hope they’re happy with us!”
