Tom joined the youth setup at Griffin Park in 2012, aged 15, and went on to win the Milk Cup that summer. The boyhood Brentford fan worked his way through the Youth Team and Development Squad before enjoying a debut to remember during a 3-0 victory over Fulham in April 2016, his corner converted by Scott Hogan for our third that afternoon.

After playing the EFL Cup tie at Exeter City the following August, Tom established himself in the First Team around the turn of the year. January saw him net his first professional goals against Eastleigh in the Emirates FA Cup with a maiden Sky Bet Championship goal coming away at Preston the following month. Tom ended the 2016/17 season with 17 appearances and three goals to his name.

The return to fitness of Rico Henry meant Tom spent the first half of the 2017/18 season on loan at Bradford City where he made nine appearances in all competitions, returning to the Brentford matchday squad as an unused substitute for the draw against Hull City on the final day of the season. It was a similar story last season with Tom playing 13 games for Cheltenham Town before returning to make his 21st and final Brentford appearance against Aston Villa last February.

Co-Director of Football Phil Giles said: "I'd like to thank Tom for his commitment to Brentford over a number of years. He has made a big decision to move to a new league and try a new experience. He has seen Reece Cole get regular game time in the same division at Partick Thistle and that now has to be the main aim for Tom. We wish him well."
