Since their meteoric rise through the divisions, The Bees and The Dons have met just once in a competitive game which came back in 2013 with Uwe Rosler's Brentford running out 5-3 winners in an EFL Trophy First Round tie. Farid El-Alagui was on target twice that night with Luke Norris, Ben Nugent, and Javi Venta the other goalscorers at Griffin Park.
