The celebration of football in the capital will be held virtually on Tuesday 27 April with three Bees in the running for awards.
After winning the prize 12 months ago, Thomas Frank has been nominated again for the Manager of the Year award in the season which saw him lead us to the Last Four of the Carabao Cup, the first major semi-final in the Club's 132-year history. Along the way we knocked out four Premier League sides before losing 2-0 to Tottenham Hotspur in January's semi-final.
Thomas also guided the team to a 21-game unbeaten run in the Sky Bet Championship between October and February. We are the second-tier's top scorers and currently sit in fourth position with nine games to play.
Thomas is up against Emma Hayes (Chelsea), David Moyes, (West Ham United), Scott Parker (Fulham), and Roy Hodgson (Crystal Palace) for the prize.
In the EFL Player of the Year category, won last year by Ollie Watkins, we are represented by Ivan Toney and Bryan Mbeumo.
Hitting the ground running doesn't do justice to Ivan's maiden season in TW8 with the 25-year-old well clear at the top of the division's scoring charts following his summer move from Peterborough United.
Ivan has netted 28 goals, with nine assists, in 36 matches. He has six more goals than anyone else in the division and is also fifth on the second tier assist charts. He picked up the October Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award and needs just three more goals to set a new second tier goals record post-2004.
One of the four men above Ivan on the assists chart is Bryan Mbuemo and he too is on the EFL Player of the Year shortlist. The 21-year-old has ten assists to his name this term, along with four goals. Six of his assists have come for Ivan which makes that the second-most common goal combination in the division.
Bryan's four goals this season have all come at the Brentford Community Stadium. He netted a stunning long-range effort in our 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town in September before a brace in the 3-1 victory against Reading in December. He also found the net as we beat Sheffield Wednesday on home soil last month.
Up against Ivan and Bryan for the player award are Joao Pedro (Watford), Joe Piggott (AFC Wimbledon), and Jobi McAnuff (Leyton Orient).
The London Football Awards raise funds for Willow, the only national charity providing Special Days for seriously ill 16-40-year-olds. These Special Days enable them and their families to reconnect and refocus on each other while enjoying an activity of their choosing. A day for them, a day about them and a day that will create memories they will all treasure forever.
Willow was founded by former Arsenal goalkeeper and TV presenter Bob Wilson and his wife, Megs, as a lasting memorial to their daughter Anna, who died of cancer aged 31. Since 1999 the charity has fulfilled more than 17,000 Special Days for young adults living with life-threatening conditions such as cancer, motor neurone disease, cystic fibrosis and muscular dystrophy.
