After our friendly defeat to Bordeaux, Thomas Frank admitted he wants to win every game, but was happy to play a friendly after a productive week in Girona.
The Bees lost 2-1 to the Ligue 2 side at the end of their week in Spain, but Frank was satisfied with some aspects of the performance on Saturday afternoon.
He said: "It's always good to get a friendly in at the end of a good week. I thought we started fairly well in the first 20 [minutes], we got in front.
"Then, unfortunately, we made a mistake for their equalising goal and lost a little bit of intensity and tempo, with and without the ball.
"We made another mistake for the 2-1 goal, and then we got back into it in the second half, where we did much better in terms of counter-pressing, moving the ball and creating a few chances."
He added: "We always want to win, we don't like to lose, we prefer to win all our games.
"Even in the Premier League, the most important thing is three points, but if the performance behind it, consistently, isn't good enough, then, over time, it will be open to everyone that you're not that good.
"But if you can consistently perform well, then there are no problems."
