Barcelona wrapped up their seventh La Liga title in ten seasons after victory at Deportivo La Coruna last night. Lionel Messi scored a hat-trick in the 4-2 win as Ernesto Valverde’s men continued their unbeaten domestic campaign. Barca’s title win, which came with four games to spare, means that, among Europe’s Big Five, only the Italian league is still up for grabs, although Juventus need just five points from their remaining three games to secure a seventh consecutive Serie A crown.
In Scotland, Celtic demolished Rangers 5-0 at Celtic Park to make it seven straight Scottish league titles on Sunday. Social Media also picked up on the victory with Celtic defender Mikael Lustig landing himself in hot water after stealing a Policeman’s hat to celebrate James Forrest’s goal.
