On the wesbite of Bees United, the Brentford supporters' trust, a team of writers have been looking behind the scenes. In all facets of Brentford Football Club there are people the fans will not really know and Bees United have been delving deep. One of the recent interview subjects is Alan Walsh, the Club's Operations Director.

Alan joined Brentford FC after working on the 2012 Olympic Games, held, of course, in London. He joined the Club days before the memorable end to the 2012/13 season, best known for Marcello Trotta hitting the crossbar with a penalty in the dying seconds against Doncaster Rovers when a goal would have clinched promotion. He has also played a key role in the project team that delivered our new stadium.

Bees United caught up with Alan as the Club were preparing to welcome fans in for games. We have had two games of 2,000 supporters and also put on a series of behind closed doors games and fixtures from London Irish RFC. It is a long way from Griffin Park. The full feature with Alan can be seen here.
